WILLIAMSFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Village of Williamsfield employees a part time police chief and additional part time officers to ensure order & law enforcement within the town & surrounding areas. Including basic speed & vehicular enforcement, our policemen also assist in the surrounding areas with most other emergency issues.

WILLIAMSFIELD FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
Williamsfield also serves as the head department for an approximate xx-sq mile district in East Knox County & part of West Peoria County, including a xx-mile stretch of Interstate 74. The tax—funded fire protection district has a 5-person Board of Trustees & 3 volunteer-manned stations:

Within the fire protection district, Williamsfield’s station houses 1 fire engine, 1 tanker truck, 1 brush truck, 2 ambulances, & 1 first-responder vehicle. Dahinda’s station houses 1 fire engine, 1 tanker truck, 1 brush truck, & 1 fire-responder vehicle. Oak Run’s station has 1 fire engine & 1 first responder vehicle.
There is approximately xx total volunteers who man these stations, including around 22 licensed EMT-basics, offering emergency care to many of the hospitals in Galesburg, Kewanee, & Peoria. For inquiries or to volunteer, please contact:
